POGS Online Review Course

Course Description

The first ever POGS Online Review Course was designed to cover all topics essential for every examinee in preparation for the part I written and part II oral PBOG examinations.

This asynchronous activity will be accessible to all participants on a Learning Management System provided by FEU Moodle until August 31, 2021. The online course consists of 6 modules containing 45 lecture topics to be delivered by esteemed speakers and professors in the academe. All lecture materials were based on the latest editions of reference textbooks and Clinical Practice Guidelines of the POGS.

The review course aims to provide the participants a comprehensive review  on topics included under general Obstetrics and Gynecology, High risk pregnancies, General Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine,  Endocrinology and Infertility, Gynecologic Oncology, Clinical and Surgical Pathology.

Each topic is provided with a 10-point pre and post test, that the participant is encouraged to answer prior to and after viewing the lecture, which will serve as their self-assessment tool. The course will culminate with a mock written examination which will be a synchronous activity that will be announced at a later date.

All participants are given unlimited number of access to the lectures until the end of the review course using a unique password provided by the committee on Continuing Medical Education and will be sent to the participant’s registered email address. This unique access code must not be shared with anyone other than the enrolled examinee.

The unauthorized recording, reproduction, distribution of this copyrighted Educational material is prohibited. The Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society reserves the right to deny any participant of this review course further access to the lectures should the latter be found guilty of recording any of the uploaded materials  (video and audio recording)
