October is BREAST CANCER Awareness Month
Dear Colleagues,
OCTOBER is breast cancer awareness month.
This year, the POGS Ad Hoc Committee on Breast Health and Breast Cancer Awareness’ goal is to
STRENGTHEN the role of the GYNECOLOGIST in Breast Cancer Screening with the goal of EARLY DETECTION.
We enjoin every OB GYN to pause from your busy schedules and get your breasts checked.
Because if we fight for our own breasts, we become stronger for others.
Be your own hero!
A friendly reminder from your breast friends!!!
CLINICAL BREAST EXAM
Every patient deserves a properly done clinical breast exam – every 1-3 years for women 25-39 years old, and annually for women 40 years old and older.
